I just bought my 99 Contour SE Sport and tried to switch my CD7000-X Sony CD Player over from my taurus(which sucked by the way(the Taurus)) and i get everything hooked up, new wiring harness etc. and i get no sound out of the speakers, the power works just fine, what's going on??
(would bypassing the amp fix it, could i still keep the amp?)

You need to make sure the blue remote wire is tied into the harness to turn on the alarm OR just get the amp bypass, the best idea.
