Any of you guys ever race a focus SVT. That would be at the track. If any of you did what was the outcome? I'm thinking the csvt would win. close race?

on paper, the svt is quicker. this one is all drivers ability on the pavement.

yes, the CSVT is significantly quicker, and we only have to through 4 gears on the track, while them 5, so we'd still be out ahead. . .

5!?? I can't believe they shift into 5th at 80+ mph at redline. 4th I would believe... Heck on the 6 I redline at 95 in 3ird!

I raced about 6 of them last Fall at a SVTOA event and beat every one easily...only one gave me a good race but I still had him by at least a car length or two. That was when I ran my best time 15.33 @ 89.99 mph.

I beat one in my SE it was running pretty consistant 16.4's that day. He couldn't get traction for the life of him. I was only running 16.0 myself though. I'm guessing this guy couldn't drive very well though.


Green 96 mystique gs 4cyl mtx 16.9 in the 1/4 mile @102500 miles 95SE in Midnight Red MTX MSDS headers and y-pipe SVT exhaust SVT UIM Optimized se TB. Full pre 98 SVT body kit 15.741 @ 87.73mph :)
