My car has 106,000 miles on it. The engine has about 55,000 and the trans. has a little over 15,000. I'm going to replace the plugs and wires, suspension, exhaust and have it dyno tuned. Any other suggestions on things to replace or clean? I might try and clean the UIM while I'm replacing an O2 sensor this weekend. Oh, and the waterpump was already replaced.

An EXPENSIVE bottle of fuel system cleaner (like, mobil 1 syntec $13.99). Do a general, "hmmm, this don't look, sound, or run right" scan and fix em. Clean that air filter (if not yet done), and give it a good wax job, it deserves it!

Dyno tuned? You've got a custom chip?

One item to add: change out all the fluids - brake/clutch, PS, coolant. Trans youcan probably leave with only 15k on it, depending on what's in it. I prefer MTL, if it's ust got ATF in it then change it. Also change the belts.

I'm getting the synchros and shift forks updated next week. I don't know off hand what fluid they use. I'll find out.

I like Lukas Oils Upper intake cleaner, Its the only fuels add that I use. I would do fuel filter, cabin air filter, oil, oil filter(duh), plugs, and perhaps wires. Then just take a look, see if your belts look good, not frayed. And look for any wires that are exposed. Anyone else? Oh and Air filter in your air box.

If you haven't had it done in awhile, get those wheels aligned and balanced... even if everything feels fine, a very slight offset can slowly turn bigger. It amazes the hell out of me how many people turn in their lease cars at my work with 20-40,000 miles and the suspension is just shot to hell, squeaking, rumbling tires, popping steering, horrid looking tires. Its like, Bajesus... It just takes $60.00 once a year for a rotate, balance, and alignement; it isn't that freakin bad! Instead, they'll be paying hundreds in repair bills when GM gets their car back. Hmm, probably a given... check your tire pressure. Its getting warmer and the tire pressure is changing.
