hey guys, i got a question, i have a 95 se and jsut got a 98 fuel rail with injectors with low milage. I want to know if i can upgrade the fuel rail to the 98 and will it work bolt on my 95 without any issues. both rails look different. Will it also bolt up to my lim or will i need to upgrade the lim as well? thx

No - to use the new rail you'd need a new LIM.

Since you have vac secondaries on your 95 LIM the new lower wouldn't be a direct swap either.

In short it's not a direct swap.

but you can mod the LIM to vac operation-I've done it,you need to lengthen the fuel lines too.......

The later return style LIM as pictured above would require you to lengthen the fuel lines-not hard at all,cut the old ones off and secure new lines.......The LIM in the picture is an SVT one fitted with std injectors,i got it from SP(originally fitted with green injectors) and it did make a difference........

If your fitting a std LIM (as in non SVT) all you would need to do is take off the vac.operated butterfly shaft and swap it with the IMRC one, they are the same length etc etc so all you would need to do is lengthen the fuel lines.the SVT buterfly shaft is different(for the larger plates) so you can't do that if fitting one of these(which is why i had to modify the linkage as above)here's some better shots...
