Has anyone tried this product? What do you think of it?

I just saw a commercial for it and it peaked my interest, because having a black car - I know how hard it can be to dry it.

They're on sale at Targay right now. I want to try it, because drying my car is my least favorite thing to do. But I'm thinking no product will dry completely clear, and I'll have to do some drying or polishing anyways. If someone has one, I'll ask them if I can try it. Otherwise, I'm not dropping 25 bones to discover it doesn't work like it needs to.

I just talked to my brother about this last night. He loves his, but then again he's not as anal about the appearance of his vehicles as I am. I'm not sure I'd want to use their soap (I use Meguiars Gold Class) but the de-ionizing filter is interesting. We have heavily treated water in my area due to a Cryptosporidium contamination back in the '90's. If I don't frantically try to dry the car after washing it will develop spots very quickly. I'm going to try and borrow his to see how it does.

I used mine on both vehicles last Saturday - I think it's great. Mr. Clean has $5 off coupons on-line. Costs 19 bucks at Target stores. Made washing my SUV easier too because I didn't have to dry the vehicle; especially the roof. The soap was easy too, one shop and start wiping. No more in/out of the bucket for more soapy water. Water around here is from wells - all real hard and will spot the finish if not dried immediately. Once that de-ionized water hits the water on the paint it starts to run away and dries clear.

I'm willing to bet that what it does is strip all of the wax/polish you put on your car right off.
So for you zaino folks - it's the equivalent of washing your car with Dawn, therefore you gotta start the ENTIRE process of polishing your car all over again each time you wash your car.
no thanks.

My Dad bought one of those. I tried it, and it didn't work AT ALL. Plus I'm not to thrilled with the idea of Jet-Dry or whatever on my paint.

That's why I wouldn't use their soap. The filter is just a filter.

Agreed. Something like that is too good to be true. I'm sticking with Meguiars car shampoo and a bucket.....yeah its messy but its worth it! My car is almost 7 years old (as of June) and people are still asking if she's new.
No Mr.Clean for us!!!!
