My nominations are:
- rice pilaf (what the hell kinda flavor here?) - tofu (yuk!) - caviar (fish eggs) - tiramisu (wet cake)
Please add to the list!

tiramisu (wet cake)
It's redeeming quality is that its soaked in RUM after cooking so you get the alcohol effect while eating it. plus it tastes pretty damn good! Buca di Bepo has some of the best!

Hey! I like rice pilaf!
I would much rather eat rice pilaf than: bread (buns, biscuits, muffins), pasta, potatoes...
You said "worthless". Most breakfast cereal is worthless.
Now if you mean nasty - I say rhubarb pie!

Ahhh! bread!
Have you ever tried sourdough or hot Cuban bread? With a little butter, they are heavenly!
As for tiramisu, I rather have the cake dry and a shot of rum on the side.
Oh, I forgot bagels - to me, they taste like compressed sawdust - too heavy and rather tasteless.
Cereal - I have grown found of them once again since ther are loaded with sugar and low in fat. I especially like Quaker Oatmeal Squares and kid's cereals like Lucky Charms, Sugar Smacks. I remember eating those in my childhood.
It's all a matter of opinion and taste. One man's meat is another man's poison.

Tofu is good if prepared right! Tiramisu is fabulous (if prepared right)! I'd have to agree with you on the caviar though. And that canned octopus and squid you see on the shelves in posh supermarkets looks pretty nasty too. Oh yeah....and pickled pigs feet that come in jars....who the hell whould eat those? Ughhhhh!
