My car makes grinding gear sounds when I take corners or turn at the traffic light.

Can someone enlighten me what could be the possible cause?

I'm not too sure about transmissions, might it be weak syncros?

Is it a clicking kinda sound. That indicates a bad CV joint. Which side is it coming from?

it's makes a mechanical rrrrr sound. As far as side goes I cannot tell. It makes the sound if I turn left or right either way.

i too would say it's a bad cv joint. that's usually what they do when they go bad (make a grinding noise when you go around a turn). try looking inside your wheelwell to make sure there is nothing hitting your tire. after i put a new set of rims and tires on i had a piece of plastic hitting the tire and it only happened when i went around a sharp turn.
