Whenever I sit down in my car the drivers seat squeaks. I think it's coming from the bottom part and inside the springs somewhere. Anyone else have this happen before, or know of an easy fix?

Anyone wanna sell an SVT Tour Rear Bumper?!! V6 Mustangs are a menice and a joke!

Yes, it is a common problem. I'm not sure how people fix it, I know one guy unbolted the seat, then rebolted it and helped somewhat.

I had the same problem and if your seat has any lateral movement be on the lookout for a cracked crossbar like below:

I actually had this happen on the original seat on my car too. I did nothing about it and eventually the entire seatback fell off. I guess the swaying caused the welding from the base to the back to crack. Imagine driving down the road and having your seat fall off

As you can see in the picture I put in a "L" shaped bracket to stop the sway.

Hope this helps,
Kevin

I have used talcum powder to stop the squeeking. It seems to come from the bottom of the side bolsters squeking against the plastic base of the chair. Throw some talc in there and see what happens. If you can stand the way it looks its a cheap and temporary fix.
