Im installing my white face gauge overlays and i need to know how to take of the headlight switch knob so that i can get to the black background to get it off. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah, that's it. Make sure you push in on that little hole. You'll feel some leeway and at the same time, pull the knob off.
