okay i just got my knu konceptz kit today and am expecting my jbl tomorrow. i've got a few last questions, if someone could answer each one i'd appreciate it

1. with the knu rca's you have the right and left channel cables, but between the 2 there is a very thin cable with about 1/8 inch of the coating stripped off, is that the remote wire? i thought built in meant built in to the rca's themselves, if so it dosent matter, i just want to know whether to connect it or not.

2. after i get the power wire thru to the cabin where can inside the car can i expect it to poke through at?

3. is 4 guage hard to fit under the side trim plastic thing? im assuming thats how everyone got it from the front of the car to the trunk. it seems like when i put it back on the screws will go thru the power wire.

4. on my driver's side plastic trim thing( or whatever its called, hehe) the second to rear screw the one near the passengers seat, the screw is stripped and i cant get it out, any suggestions? this is also the deepest and hard to see, that screw is burried in that plastic.

You don't have to pry the plastic up, just peel back the rubber trim. This allows you to push the wires right under the plastic trim without dealing with the annoying screws. The trim just pushs back on no problem. After I figured this out I was kicking myself for having unscrewed all the plastic in the past.

First of all, I didn't put that in my sig, its just myfastse messing with me again (just wait Eric... ).

Regarding the post, I fit a 4-channel twisted RCA cable, 2 twelve-gauge speaker wire sets and a remote wire all in the space under the trim. I don't think your one four gauge wire will be a problem at all.

Just how big is 4 gauge?, heck I may have 6 gauge which is smaller...
