That is a little steep, but it is a beast of a job. I had my car in a shop around here and they swapped one of 'em for $100 IIRC. Have you already bought the parts?

Do what i did, skip the precats and just get some headers made. I had to do that, lol.

Was that cheaper than buying the MSDS headers?

You going to the regional meet? If you are, & hiddendragonse has not claimed them, I'd like one set of those manifolds. PM me.

Would these headers bypass the precat all together and jst connect up to the y-pipe? Would I need a mil illiminator?

MSDS header will replace your manifolds. The headers are a 3 piece set that comes with a new Y-pipe, but you can just bolt in your stock Y if you want to.

For best performance modify your stock Y-pipe, its better than the MSDS Y. If you don't mod your stock pipe, use the MSDS unit.

You will need MIL eliminators - I'm not sure if they're included with the headers. A few CEGers have just zip-tied the O2s & then plugged the bungs. You might want to try that option first if your set has no MIL eliminators with them.
