Actually, those numbers are for the T-28 turbo kit that Street Flight provides. Toms full boost rpm level is a bit higher.

Exactly.
Tom was making full boost before 4000rpm. That is with a large wheel 60-1 trim and 2" primary headers (I.E. the protoypes before they made the primaries smaller like someone else's idea right Chris )

Sounds like someone is reguritating theories so far from this application that I gurantee we will never even see a exhaust manifold flange produced, much less a complete system on a ATX.
I offer PnP Heads for all durtec's details at PnPheads.com or jesse@pnpheads.com for details.

Might I remind you of this? Why bother doing all this work for the ATX if you say you're going to swap it out?

Right, it depends on the boost level. I was pushing 6-7 psi around 3500 and 8.5 psi around 3800. I suspect that I could hit anything up to 15psi by 4K rpm.
With a 3L I don't need boost below 2800 rpm, and with a manual, I definitely can launch in the 3000 rpm range if I want to. I can keep it in the boost the whole time I'm draggin if I only had enough traction.
Spend your money on traction and your time on learning to launch these cars. That will pay better dividends in getting good times in the 1/4 then thousands on nitrous and turbos. Of course, no amount of skill can help in a rolling start on the freeway when you want to pull away from a fast car. Better get money for mods if you want to do that.

Sounds like someone's using HP to make up for poor driving skills...
...and I'm not just saying that because you have me by 100 at the wheels either.
I still say from stop light to stop light I could take you. A nice quick race that never sees 3rd yer gone. I mean gear...
Just you wait Tom. You'll get yours eventually...
