I just got a 98 SVT and i have had it all but a week, its a beautiful car! heres the thing, last night i was going to a buddys house and i was making a left onto his street and i went to downshift and the sifter felt like it was disconnected. so it was stuck in 3rd gear and i made it to his house on that. so i got there and we jacked it up and put stands inder it and i slid under it and looked around, and what do you know, one of the cables was disconnected from the part that goes into the transmission. and it looked like its missing a little bushing and a "e" clip. Im an engineer and i could make the part and i have "e" clips, what should i do? do u think a brass bushing would work or should i call up a dealer and get a replacement part. And the car didnt come with a warranty well any help would be greatly appreciated. -adam
