Hey guys im new here, just registered but i have been looking around this site for a few weeks, just got a 98 Tour SVT. Very nice car! but a few minor problems... First off i think my fog lights are broke, i pull the light switch out and they dont go on. am i doing something wrong? maybe its the bulbs. Second the windshield washer doesnt work, the reservoir is filled up and ill pull the lever down and nothing comes out, the hose is all connected i already followed it out. Thanks for any help.

If it wired the same as my 95, there is a harness connector by the washer tank that feeds all of this that may be disconnected or broken. I found this when the dealer worked on my wifes tour and the lights and washer didn't work. They "forgot" to hook it up. I have 2 pages of other things they also forgot...

need a helper... sitting in the car with the engine on and activating the w/shield washer and you then go back to the reservoir and see if you get water shooting out of the pump..if so then you follow the hose all the way to the hood and on the little plastic nozzles that the water is suppose to come out off.. clean off the nozzles as they are pretty small holes and probably blocked up by the washer fluid residue or dust... if you dont have any pressure at the pump then check to see if you got voltage to the pump via the two wire electric connector... if no then fuse.. if you got voltage and the pump does not work then take the pump off and check it out and repair or replace the pump...
