Just wondering. I thought I had a leaky gasket last fall but while under the car yesterday, it looks more like the drain pan bolt.

I'm careful when I tighten the bolt after oil changes to not tighten too much. Guess I'm not tightening enough or the o-ring is old.

i would replace both the bolt and the o ring wont hurt probably around 3 bucks there

Had a leaky one on my s-10 turned out to be a stripped bolt replace it.

Life expectancy for the gasket material is approx. 40-50k...time for a new one!
