Bah! New Cobra owners among many other factory cars run 12's, so a well built 3L running a shot of n2o which happens to be in a smaller Focus ZX3 isn't out of the question IMO
If you have a "race car", I hope you can go faster than 12's

Bstonemega sold his S/C to a guy with a 2.5 duratec in a focus. Try sending him a PM to find out who it was.

I would keep the zetec. Build it. Bulletproof it. Boost it. The zetec makes phenomenal torque under boosted conditions. They also make a few fuel management components that make life so much easier=) Not to mention all kinds of internals that wont break your piggy bank=)

I second that, for the amount of money invested in a 3L swap you could have one heck of a zetec!
I offer PnP Heads for all durtec's details at PnPheads.com or jesse@pnpheads.com for details.

Too bad not ONE zetec'r on here besides seawulf has even coughed up enough money to think about a turbo. 3L or super zetec, someone's got to put their money where their mouth is.

Well that would make sense, if they were loaded like some people (or good at using credit cards) they would have bought a V6 to start with. No one should 'have' to do anything.
