TOday my left speaker of my stock Radio/Cassette player stopped working. any ideas why this would happen, I never crank them high anyways. What do you think I should try? THanks

Try swapping your left and right speakers over and see if the problem moves (ie if your speaker is dead).

This will at least isolate if the speaker is the problem or your head unit.

Actually, I got the sound back in the left speaker again. now everything is normal..It maty have come back to life after I slightly nudged the unit trying to get it out with the pull tool that I made of clothes hanger wire. but I am not sure that was the reason. anyway, iit's back to life.. Thanks

i'd say it's a bad speaker ground. either in the speaker itself or the headunit. my guess would be probably at the speaker itself
