I have two 10's (MTX Bluethunder) and it seems like the brake light that's mounted in the back winsheild is the source of all the rattling. Does anyone know how to keep it from rattling? Up in the front seats my system sounds real good... don't hear any loud rattling, but if you sit in the back seats it sounds like crap. Not that i sit in the back ever, I just want my back seat passangers to have the same listening experience as myself. I have a 97 contour.

2 ways to stop it -
1. fix to always be in contact witht he window or
2. fix it so that it does not contact the window at reasonable volume.
3. You could also remove the light but that may be illegal.

I did number 2. by shifting the light mounting on the rear deck cover back from the glass.

Remove the brake light. Flip it upside down. Buy some silicone caulk (the clear stuff). Put the caulk all over the underside of the light and anywhere pieces seem to be touching. Be sure to not get caulk into the hole where the power cable plugs in. Let it dry for plenty of time. This method worked for me. If you still have a rattle, put some more on there.
