right now my setup is completely stock. 2"piping, no resonator and a no-name muffler in the rear. im going duals soon and ive been thinking about trubendz. will i still have alot of rasp with a non-resonated borla/magnaflow muffler setup than with a resonated kit. how different is the sound in resonated - non-resonated?

I'd say it's more like "bark" than "rasp" with the non-resonated system. It's loud, though...perhaps a little too loud for a sedan, IMHO.

well, i mean stock tubing. i just had the resonator cut out and replaced with straight pipe and right after i had that done the exhaust sounded like [censored] because the baffles sucked on the stock muffler so i had that cut out and replaced for $25.

I just had a resonator and cat go bad on my svt. The shop put a higher flow resonator (alot thinner) on and the car is now a little too loud. Especially at about 2k. This was comming from stock.

Had a resonator go bad huh? sounds like you got suckered into a lighter wallet. Your flux capacitor is probably overheating, I can fix it for $300.
