Hey guys, anyone know of a good place to get your car professionaly detailed around the Minneapolis metro area? Also, I don't know if I can afford to pay 80 bucks to "officially" go to SZ, but I may just come up, stay at a hotel and come see the cars. If I do, I would definately like to join the convoy there with you guys. Cooper

Well, as good detailing will be the same as the entry... we could do a shine up at someone's house without the expense... then you could afford the fee.

Damn, you got me there. The shape my car is in, on the outside, I couldn't bring it to the SZ. SO, a good group detailing would be great...seeing as how I wouldn't trust myself using a buffer.

Becareful when using a buffer, please It would be better to have a couple people help you for sure as a decent detailing shop is going to charge you atleast $150.00 and thats probably just going to be one step, wax and thats it. Not that I live anywhere near you but I detail cars on the side and for the best job, which it sounds like your car needs, would cost $175.00 and include the full detail, clay barring and 3 step. This is the only way to go IMO and make sure you buy the proper products so you too can do the "steps" PM me if you have any further questions or need any advice here. I wanna see as many people at SZ as possible

Well if any of you folks out there decide to get together to do a little detail session I would love to join in on it! My baby is definitely in need of a little love, its just so hard to do since its been so DAYM cold lately. I'm not heading to the Spring Zing but I'd like to get together. Hopefully the snow will be gone by then. Later ALL

We will definately have to set something up, but we should wait till middle of April or so. That way the streets should be clear of salt!

We should shoot for some weekend in mid-April, HOPEFULLY all the snow will have melted and the salt is off the roads. The question now becomes where to hold this little meeting? At someones house? Maybe back in the cities? That work for everyone?

That's my shortfall is the space to do it... love the townhome, lack a real driveway...
Not a real believer in the 3-step processes or in buffers. I do believe in the clay bar and 2 wax coats of a good wax.
Spring is my crazy season... depends on when it is and my priorities would depend on which car I bring to shine up... have a spring meet for the RX-7 3 weeks before SZ in Indianapolis.
