Have you ever really felt like just giving up? i havent been to the site in a while a lot has happened in my life in a very, very short time. my father passed away on dec 11th at the age of 47. he always was there for me when i needed him, he even cosigned so that i could buy my svt back when i did. my girlfriend and i are on a "break" i use my savings to pay off my car, so yes no she is all mine. then, if all that wasnt enough the differential decides to shatter, sending chunks through-out the trans case... needless to say im down a car and having to have a new transmission put in the car...

my question is will i get the updated unit with all the upgrades since ford is installing the new transmission?

sorry about the long rant, but i just cant win...

judging from your previos post above, I have a couple of questions:

Is the mtx75 casing that BADLY damaged that they can't use it? If they can't, contact terry haines, I'm sure he might be able to help you out and hook you up with a tranny. Junkyard is always an option.

In terms of rebuild, you'll have to shell out $1000 for parts and labor on a used tranny. If they can salvage yours (I don't know how bad your diff exploded), then you can get teh upgraded synchros, a Quaife or Torsen diff, and new clutch, flywheel, shift forks from the focus and you're GOOD TO GO.
