How do I know if my contour is a "SVT?" Its a 1997 contour sport V6. I'm trying to perform the TH Fix and it says you should drill different sized holes depending if you have "SVT" or not. Does anyone have sizes other than the ones listed in the TH Fix FAQ that work well? Or does 3/16" or 7/32" for SVT and 15/64'' for stock intake work best?

Ahh while i'm thinking of it. I had the moose noise. I tried to fix it with putting a 3 foot 3/4 inch hose in place of the 6 inch one. That eliminated the moose. But now I have the throttle hang problem. Does the TH fix still work with the longer hose? Or should I put the old hose in, put in the copper resistor, and see if that fixes the throttle hang and moose?

cant be SVT its a 97 only svt are 98-00

There's no hard and fast rule for the hole sizes. You just have to experiment, since every car is different and it varies a bit with outside temperature. But one of the sizes you listed should work.

I never had moosing but the 15/64" hole knocked down the throttle hang significantly.
