You have got to be kidding us! You can answer someone about a cam seal leaking oil, ABS braking problems, a timing belt in a post about engine swaps, removing the steering wheel to change gauges, etc...

So when you ask what is and how do I fix a P302, I wonder now if you really know what you speak of. Maybe this is why no one has answered this post.

I'm not trying to be rude or insulting, but this seems so easy and has been covered many times.

Check spark plugs, wires, ignition coil, lack of fuel pressure, fuel filter.

CHECK YOUR PLUGS AND WIRES(ESPECIALLY CYLINDER #2). GO TO AUTOZONE AND HAVE THEM RESET IT FOR YOU OR IF YOU KNOW SOMEONE WHO HAS AN OBD TOOL HAVE THEM DO IT(THIS WILL SAVE YOU A LOT OF CASH SINCE YOU DON'T HAVE TO TAKE IT TO A DEALERSHIP). I HAVE HAD CODE P0304 AFTER WASHING MY ENGINE A COUPLE OF TIMES. I FINALLY WENT TO ADVANCE AUTO AND BOUGHT AN OBD II TOOL.

I'm, not sure if your trying to sound sacrasitc here or not. Anyways if you have bad cam seals, it will cause oil consumption. ABS braing not sure what I said about that, and with timing belts those should be changed every 60,000 miles. The person was doing an engine swap and they asked if they should put a new one on UI said it was a good idea.

As for the guage cluster, a while back the safety belt light burnt out in my car, the mechanic had the steering wheel almost removed from the car, it was completly unbolted but not all the way off. He had to remove the cluster to get to the bulb.
