ok...i was wanting to get your guys outlook on this and see what you think about it...im thinking about not even getting cams b/c of the stupid VCT(seeing i could only get the intake cam)...so im just thinking about just getting cam gears and not worry about the cam....what do you guys think about this? so that would put my "to do list" at this

UDP
cam gears
P&P head
custom tune flip chip
TB optimized
zex wet kit
oil cooler
thermostat
fuel pump
injectors
(any other suggestions if i dont get the cam..any other alternative power adders that i havent thought about? fuel rail maybe?)
what do you guys think?

P.S: i was thinking about somthing that would make my nitrous use with the flip chip a lil easier if its possible...anyone ever thought about hooking the nitrous engage switch and the flip chip engage switch together? could you do this? any kind of special switch availible to do this?

I mean just one cam gear, only intake side.

i thought that was only if you installed the actual cam.....VCT sucks a$$...almost makes me wanna get rid of the contour...its gettin on my nerves

and the CEL makes the car run like ____ right?

cam and cam gear all works together

just do the intake cam/cam gear and dont deal with it anymore.

it would be nice to have a set of cams/cam gears preassembled and sold as a set.

You can't do the cam or cam gear on the exhaust (VCT) side. That will give you a CEL (P1383- VCT overretarded) and cause your car to run crappy. Cam gear on intake side is okay....besides when I tuned my gears I got most of my power on the tuning of the intake cam.......only like 1 HP more with tuning the exhaust side.
