Does anyone know how stable the CSVT's are in the upper reaches of the speedometer (130+ mph)?? I'm sure a lot of us have hit speeds in the 100's on the highway for a short while, but does anyone know how the 'tour does for extended periods of time at high speeds on a track? Likewise, how about on a high speed road course (not that many exist in the US frown )?

Up to 145mph the car is pretty stable.
after 145 (up to approx 170) the car still is stable, but you can tell there is a great amount of pressure on the front edges of the car.

Forget the car's stability at those speeds, what about your tire's speed ratings? wink

A stock SVT does not have to worry about going faster than 145 mph (It can?t). A 3-liter or supercharged SVT can probably hit 170.
