OP Threat New CEG\'er T Joined: Feb 2004 Posts: 12 Bowie, MD	Hi all, i am new to the forum. i am in md, and recently bought a 98 contour svt. i have been watching the forum for mods and ideas for about a month now. i will have pics up soon. but as for mods thus far.. bosch plat. 4 plugs and 2.5" custom cat-back and dual flowmasters. Thanks all for your help, even if u didnt know u helped me . 98 CSVT dual flowmasters sound nice

Thed concensus on the NECO and CEG boards is that your +4s are your worst nightmare. The Duratec engine uses a "waste-spark" coil, meaning that it fires from anode to cathode on the cylinder that's firing and cathode to anode on the cylinder that's exhausting at the same time. This will kill a non-double platinum plug in short order. The Motorcraft AWSF32FS plugs or the equivalent Autolite double plats are your plug to use. Use 2-step colder copper if you're spraying, of course.
