Thed concensus on the NECO and CEG boards is that your +4s are your worst nightmare. The Duratec engine uses a "waste-spark" coil, meaning that it fires from anode to cathode on the cylinder that's firing and cathode to anode on the cylinder that's exhausting at the same time. This will kill a non-double platinum plug in short order. The Motorcraft AWSF32FS plugs or the equivalent Autolite double plats are your plug to use. Use 2-step colder copper if you're spraying, of course.
