I saw that accident (aftermath) involving the SVT. I was on my way to work traveling on 234. The only time i ever left the house w/out my digital camera. That was one of the craziest accident scene that i have ever seen. I hope that everybody will have a speedy recovery.

Iâ??ll bet that was the first time any of those, gas guzzling, sloppy handling, "sport" utility vehicles, ever went off road. I almost got t-boned by a dumb as broad in a SUV last month. She wasn't on a cell phone, so it didn't piss me off too much, I guess she was just stupid. I wonder if theyâ??ll buy a car next time, or if theyâ??ll just buy a bigger truck for the road, so that theyâ??ll *feel* safer.

Thanks everybody for the well wishes. Like I said though, I'm not hurt, I'm just very thankful. It was surreal to say the least. I just sat there in my car helpless to move out of the way while this truck is airborn heading right at me. All I thought was Oh God, I hope it doesn't make it to my passenger cabin, and thankfully it didn't. It all happend as if in slow motion. Dan, you're right, I was lucky I wasn't on my bike! It is definitely Russian Roulette on these roads. As for the accident. I called a friend of mine that works for the police force and got the details I need to make my claim. The lady in the SUV was at fault and I do think a cell phone was involved. A funny thing was that when we were trying to help her out of her overturned and smashed SUV, she just kept asking where is her cell phone??? She was bleeding from the head (ruined my shirt) and she had a VERY evident compound fracture on her right arm. She was complaining that she couldn't feel her arm either. The guy in the SUV next to me that she landed was taken to the hospital as he was pretty messed up. And the driver of the truck that landed on my car was cut up and battered pretty badly as well. All of the four vehicles were confirmed to be totaled. My friend estimates that the damage to all the vehicles involved and medical bills will eclipse $200,000+. I think her insurance company will definitely be dropping her in the near future. Anyway, SVT will be outta commission for a couple weeks since I have to wait for the her insurance company to contact me. I was going to go though my insurance, but I decided F'that, it wasn't my fault and why should I pay outta my pocket a $500 deductible? Then I would have to wait to be reimbursed as well. I think I'll demand rental as well. This is the first time I've been involved in a collision with so many parties so hopefully I won't have any issues trying to get my car fixed. If so, I'll be looking for a good lawyer.

Get everything that's coming to you. Talk about an unacceptable situation.
