if the cel light comes on and you fix whatever the problem was do you have to reset the cel or will it go away on its own since the problem is fixed????
if you have the code reader and you fix it or not you can clear the codes and they will come back after two or three cycles(runs of the car when the problem comes back) and if the car was fixed then the codes will not come back.. if you dont have the code reader to erase the codes you can take the battery cable off and the codes will go away.. you then run the car and the codes will come back on probably the next day if you dont have the problem fixed.....
