I just had my tranny rebuilt and I noticed occasionally the car has a tendency to cough or miss ever so slightly when changing from 2nd to 3rd gear. It also stumbles slightly after idleing for a minute or so. I live in Mazatlan Mexico and the gas, from what I've been told, is dirtier than the U.S. so I'm hopeing it just needs an injector cleaning. Already changed the fuel filter. Could it still be a tranny issue? Thanks, John

Yeah, try some Chevron Techron fuel system cleaner & go for a drive to work it into the system. That might help.

How old is the fuel filter?
