I have a '99 tour with a Zetec (don't think that should matter). But with 2 and previously 3 12" subs and their amps, the back of my car is noticeably lower than the front. It even scrapes my driveway sometimes. Has anyone noticed this? Any solutions? Lowering springs? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think we all experience this problem under hard acceleration also. The problem is a set of considerably weaker suspension in the rear. Lowering springs and koni's will to wonders for you.

Thanks, I'll try that this summer, when funds are available. What do they typically cost for installation? Where do you have it done?

Estimates I have seen for costs are about $250 to install a set of springs or struts. I believe if you have them done at the same time it is typically similiar in price($250). Maybe a little more. I know that if you had them installed seperately you would be paying about $250 TWICE!! This is all based on previous posts I have seen, so don't quote me.
