I just picked up one of these babies today and damned if it didin't work like a charm. It only cost $40 and it fits in the glove box. Handy to say the least!

Cool, that is pretty useful,,, even more useful is a full scanner, like the one here,,, www.obd-2.com very much worth it in my opinion,,, if you have a laptop that is.

I would like an OBD-I reader for the laptop, not OBD-II

I realize you can't get quite all the detailed info you get with a obd-2 scanner with obd 1,, but atleast pulling codes and running diagnostic tests are free on obd 1.

All you have to do to reset the cel is to pull the fuse going to the computer and wait a few minutes. Or, if you want to do it the hard way, disconnect the battery for a few minutes.

Here is the one that I got.It is a little overkill, but I figured it I'm going to buy one, I might as well buy one that works with all my cars (I also have a '90 vette). Well worth the money even though I have only used it twice. Worth a thought. Sean

Everyone should have one. Two if you want one that has the dyno tuning program but, that one will set you back a bit more than $40.
