Today, it was 3 degrees here in WCH. It has snowed and drifted in the past several days, so I was trying to clear my driveway. Well, there were many tire tracks on the driveway, and I was breaking them up with a spade. I had just finished one tire track, and took the spade back to the garage. I leaned it against the garage wall. Well, it fell over and the metal handle hit my rear bumper on the passenger side. My paint shattered off the bumper in a circular pattern almost two inches in diameter. It took all of the paint off the area, and took a very, very small area down to the substrate. I was so pissed. I have backed into things before, and damaged a bumper, but I have never felt so stupid. I let an eight dollar spade damage a very expensive bumper. I'm going to try and have someone repaint it because the primer is still on the bumper.

Sorry for the rant.

I feel your pain!! I went to get into my car this morning, and what do I see........
an 18 inch long black line leading from my drivers side rear wheel to a cracked bumper and a 3 inch circle of missing paint.

Some dumb %^%^ unit that can't parallel park used my rear bumper to help them park in the snow covered street.

Worst part was, there was enough room to park 2 mini vans behind my car.

Last year they got my left front bumper, this year the rear.
I need to park with the passanger side facing the street so they can get the other 2 corners.
