If you guys are calling your inline/straight 4 cylinders "v4"'s then you should probably not be messing with the wires in your car.

I wouldn't worry about the difference in the tach. The Zetec's redline at 6500 where the Duratec's redline at 6750. It's just important you TRY and get the same model year or at least a post 98.
