Hello,

Did not start the day out right today. Some how last night when I pulled in the garage I got my car to close to the rail that the door goes up and down on so as I backed out half a sleep cracked the mirror right off. Its a power mirror and I can only imagine what it would cost so just wondered if anyone had any good I ideas of how this would could still work. It was a fairley clean break but do not have any experience with this. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Either start calling some wreckers or if possible you could maybe reattach, depending on the break I guess, likely easier to replace it again depending on the break..

get the Haynes Contour book from auto zone, i paid $12 for mine in 1996 for my 96 model.. book was good for getting the pass. window out to fix the window regulaor,, it shows how the inside area where the mirrow is attached, and how it comes off.. you might need to see this to get it off to see how bad/or not so bad the damage is?????/ you gonna need some torx drive screw driver bits also to get them off.. hope this helps...

They are expensive as heck, mine has power mirrors and they are heated, it cost like $165 installed.
