Hi everyone!

I don't want to beat this topic to death, but I'd like to install 6x9's in place of the factory speakers (I've already replaced the head unit). According to JakeTheSnake, all he basically had to do was to drill a few holes and everything else went smooth (please correct me if I'm wrong, Jake!) Is it really this easy to put 6x9's in, assuming you have the depth to work with? Please let me know - Thanks!

yes, installing the actual speakers was easy. it was a MAJOR hassle to run wires from the amp to all the doors. I ended up taking out that door chime thing, and drilling through there. But if you're going to be using the stock speaker wire, its not hard at all. As far as depth goes, the kenwood excelons i put in are very deep, deeper than the 6x9 infinity kappa's i believe. Clearance was not a problem at all. Plenty of room in all four doors.
