I am torn between painting my reflector (silver frost) or leaving it. I love the way it looks on the black cars, but not so much on the red or green. Could any of you w/silver frost csvt's post some pics to help me decide??? and or advice/experience.

Paint it and also paint the lower valance of the SVT rear bumper to match... I know Stazi has the same rear setup and it looks sweet. I have it done also, but mine is black so my lower valance is already painted..

Definatley paint it. I think it looks the best on silver frost. The rear valance too if you can it'll look amazing. Although I think a couple guys had problems with heat screwing up the paint. I really regret not doing that when I had the rest of it done. But that's just my $.02

I'm gonna say opposite of everyone else... don't paint. IMO the reflection looks awesome at night, and it's not all that bad during the day. And you'll never have to worry about the paint coming off.
Here's mine from the back at night.

The only real problem I see with painting the reflectors on non-black Contours is the fact that you still see the black stripe around the reflector . To me , it looks like it was something that was just "painted over" & not a continuation of the trunk .

I'm not real big on the reflectors , so I couldn't wait to get a painted reflector on my car !

That's just my oppinion too .

I agree, I like the look of the reflector a lot. But I guess I have never considered painting mine because my car is red and it really wouldnt change it all that much.

Swap to a pre 98 trunk lid with the lip spoiler!

Andy W. The problem with America is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?
