The canyon run is laid out : We will leave Pueblo as close to 10am as possiable, be there early ! To get to the meeting place in Pueblo take : I-25 Exit 102 ( EagleRidge Blvd.)Far north end of town. Go West pass I-HOP to gas station on right side of roadway. we will meet here.
We will exit Pueblo on Hwy. 50 to Canon City (The most boring part of the trip.)Then, we go through the Salida Canyon (fast twisty area.)
We then turn off Hwy 50 at Texas Creek, to Hwy 69. (open your car up and see what it can do area.)all the way to Westcliffe, CO.
We then get on Hwy 96 and head toward Hwy 165. (Hwy 165 has the best twisty on the whole trip.) We will stop at Bishops castle to rest the cars, and take pictures of this great castle.
We will continue down Hwy 165 to San Isabel Lake for lunch.
After lunch we will back track down Hwy 165 to Hwy 96 again but this time we take a straight shot to Pueblo through the remainder of the canyon.
All in all should be close to 5 hours of Twisty fun ! Add in the time it takes you to get to Pueblo, and that's a good days worth of driving. Look at www.mapquest.com and follow the directions given here. You will then know where we are going. Cant wait to see you all in April. No set date yet, but soon. The first week in march, I should know ! More info to come. -B.

The average speed of the canyon run is 70 to 80mph. If you have mods and are a good driver, faster is possible ! ! ! I am not responsible for anyone on this canyon run. Everyone is coming on there own free will just in case there is setbacks I know there wont be. The last two runs were awesome. One SHO did lose a wheel weight causing him not to be able to drive over 60mph, but he still had fun. Cant wait ! See you all in April. More info on set date coming soon. -B.

Does anyone else want to go ? I was just wondering because this is going to be the best run ever ! My buddy Pat is coming in his 500HP SHO !!!! It is so fast, has to be the fastest family car on the planet. I have been in a M5 too, and this SHO would stop it. I know this is going to be a blast. The 10th OR the 17th for sure. I do hope the weather is good, but are first SHO run was in the rain, No traffic, and major FUN ! Have your good tires on just in case. See you all in April. -B.

Audiboy and I are still planning on going if we're able. My tires absolutely SUCK in the snow, but they're ok in the rain. Weather would certainly stop me from coming...let's hope for sunny skies.
I usually drive pretty slow (speed limit), so I'll have to stay in the middle of the pack to "urge" me along.
