LoL good subject dumb question ok here is the thing i have the 2 12 inch punch in the trunk with 2 2inch ports witch beats the F*** out of my trunk and sounds good as #ell but i need to knock down the trunk rattle i have taken foam and but it behind the trunk i am thinking of beating down the trunk latch some, one of my friends said he did that and well it made the trunk lid quit rattling so much because it made the trunk latch down a lot tighter. just wondering if there was any thing any one else could do besides beating down the latch i have also took expanding foam in ALL the cracks and i took some of the rubber foam and put it on the walls and floor of the trunk and well all i really have is my trunk viberating really bad right now and thats all that u hear and well with them ports making it rattle more it makes it sound really really really mean.

LOL, aside from the poor grammar...I would think the ported box would have something to do with the rattling because it is moving more air that way. You decided to put big speakers in the trunk so you might just have to live with it since it would take a ton of work to make every little thing in the trunk stop rattling.

usually in those situations its cuz of the trapped air in the trunk moving too fast. fold one of your seats down to let the pressure into the car and see if it helps the rattling at all. if it does, u might wanna make a spacer so you can keep your rear seat slightly tilted forward or port your rear dash.
