I suppose it was a worthwhile attempt, but keep in mind the real purpose of altering photographs in Photoshop is to keep the content believable after adjusting the image. Even you can admit that the second picure wouldn't fool much of anybody if shown by itself. I know Photoshop corrections aren't the easiest to do, but keep working at it and you'll start to realize how powerful the software really is. Below are some examples of 'before' and 'after' Photoshop alterations. At least to me, the final image is as convincing if not moreso than the original: Full shot, before: Full shot, after: Mouth, before: Mouth, after: Eye, before: Eye, after: -mike.

hahahaaaaaaaaaaa! i did a package design for a company and me being a good designer i take my own photography. well, i designed the package which had a chrome piece to it that was reflective. after working with this product for a good 6 months i noticed that you could see me in the reflection!! i was like
hahaa, this image went through a ton of meetings, revisions, critiques, press checks, and printings. nobody saw it. needless to say i fixed it on subsiquent printings. all is good, but if you see a product out there with a photographer in the reflection....it isnt me.
