So I have a 00CSVT, Would a 97 motor work on my car? A guy at advanced auto parts said there is a good possibility it would.

No, the SVT wiper motor is a high performance motor that puts out 20% more power so it cleans the windshield faster to account for the increased top speed (i.e. no 110mph speed limiter)

Just kidding - I would think that all wiper motors from 95-00 are the same.

It SHOULD be. It's hard to tell with the front changes. I believe the cowls remained untouched. Just call Furd and see if their part numbers are the same. Then you'll know for sure.

I bet they're the same. Why not rip yours out, seeing it's farked anyway, and then take it down to the junk yard and compare it to the one they have?

I just might have to do that. I have the motor and the wiper arm layin in the back of my car. I work at a dealership so we sometimes get broke down base model contours. Thats where I got it from. The contour I got the motor off of had no axles so the wheels were pigeon toed and there was still the chains hanging from the motor where I think the motor was pulled. Half of the motor was still in the back seat. If anyone ever needs really basic parts I sometimes run acrossed them.
