Ok, so it's -34C outside and whenever I try to crank the engine, the engine turns over but sputters. So, I'm assuming the gas line is frozen. How do I defrost the gas line without having to wait the week that it's going to take before it warms up? Would adding gas line antifreeze right now help? Thanks.

Add gas line anti-freeze to tank for sure. Bare light bulb under hood can help, as can a hair dryer.

Heat it up with a torch? NO !!! LOL Don't do that!! The Hair dryer under a semi open hood helps alot, or as suggested a trouble light under the hood somewhere where it won't melt any hoses or vac lines.

OH! I didnt see that 2nd part you wrote! You owe me a new car!
Nah just kidding, Blowdryer should be on high tho, because that cold air makes the air cold on a blowdryer... I wonder if my fuel lines are frozen... and thats why it dont start...

Well, it's -40C (that's -40F, too! ) So, I don't think anything will work very well. Factor in wind chill, and it's -50C. Yeah, that's right, -50C! Looks like I'll be taking the bus for the next week...

The Wind Chill has no affect on the gas line, only the ambient temperature. Not that it helps you much at -40! Good luck!
