well lets see here.. how can i explain this... recently bought and had installed a JVC el kameleon.... worked fine with factory speakers... i then bought 4 infinity kappa 5 x 7's and all of them work EXCEPT in the left rear... when i connect it its makes this buzzing/beeping/rat tat tat noise.... i cant really explain it but it does bother me only having 3 speakers.... any clues? could this be that stupid walkman amp behind the glovebox (there is an adapter from the HU to it and it has gain settings, but none work) if u need more details ill try to explain..

I would check all the connections from the HU to the speakers...If they are all ok, then try connecting a different speaker to the door that is not working. This should eliminate the possibility that the speaker is bad.

Are you using the factory amp? If you are, bypass it.

not an expert, but from what i hear is if you buy an aftermarket HU, its internal amp is probably better than the 14watts the crap stock amp puts out. Try bypassing the amp...how many watts does your JVC put out?

I had just bought a new alpine swing series deck about a month ago, same problem. I ended up sending it back on warranty. If your deck isn't working correctly then it should be replaced immediately. JVC is usually reliable stuff so there shouldn't be any problem replacing it.

all my speakers worked on my HU(stock and aftermarket) when i put it in. after installing my system (me and my bro) my front speakers arent loud enough till i hit a certain volume on the HU. So maybe ya got the same thing i do where its on and its workin its just not as loud as the other speakers and they are being overpowered.

it doesnt bother me cuz that only happens at low volumes 1-8
