this has been happening for a while now. but it only happens at certain points when im driving. say i were to take a turn then start to give it gas and it would rev up to like 3000 then right when it shifts, u can hear this clicking type of noise, like an electrical click, in the back driver side speaker. its agravating and everytime i take some along to listen to it, it never happens. im thinkin maybe a bad ground? it only does it when im going slow to fast right when it shifts. plz help, thanks

I would check to make sure the terminals (including the wires that go to the speaker cone) on your speakers aren't touching each other or the frame of the speaker. If your speaker has a metal frame, I bet you have a grounding issue. You may want to try putting some sort of non-conductive material behind all parts of the speaker's frame that touch the door (I had the same problem in an old car and eventually ended up running my own speaker wire)

LOL. I can't tell you how many times I took off my door pannel in my '95 Taurus. Every time I thought that I had fixed the popping/cutting in and out issue with the speaker....it would do it again. It was not a defective speaker either b/c I had it switched out at Best Buy for a new one. After I ran my own speaker wire the problem went away or if you don't want to go through that hassle, get a speaker with a plastic frame rather than a metal one.
