On the Duratec V6, where or what is the easiest way to hook-up a Vacuum Gauge to measure engine vacuum?

I know there's those two hoses that connect to the UIM, but I'm worried about breaking them because they seem like they do NOT want to come out of the UIM.

Is there any vacuum hoses that are easily accessible, without removing anything, that get constant manifold vacuum(not ported).

Did you try using a screwdriver to hold down the outer plastic sleeve and pulling up on the boot. Thats how I got those hoses going into the UIM out. John
