Mine is 95(v6),can newer MTXs fix my car, like 98-2000,svt?

Yep. Just don't go off and buy a MTX-75 out of a Zetec equiped vehicle. That will not work since you have a Duratec.

i thought you couldnt switch a newer tranny into a 95 because of the rod/cable difference. One is cable "driven", and 1 is rod "driven".

95-97 used a rod shifter equipped MTX-75.
