The site is hard to navigate and slow. Also, I'm not buying the whole Taylor wires giving me 5hp/5 ft. lbs. of torque either. I noticed you guys corrected the expected gains on the JET chips (still a little optimistic though), but did not adjust the #s on the spark plug wires to 0 hp/0 ft. lbs. of torque. I would not buy from a site claiming this.

not to defend anyone or anything, but sometimes the sites just print whats quoted from the parts company, maybe that is it???

if not, with the way im feeling toward business offers for the contour, im not sure i'd buy either

now is the time for zero tolerance on ceg!!!

sorry, that group buy got me pissed

Mike ...

First off, I'm sorry for the negative input around here toward vendors. We recently had two bad experiences involving Contour vendors / group buys, and that is clearly turning people away from small website shops that are Contour-specific. Please understand this.

As for the site, I do hope it works well! It is a bit clunky right now in terms of functionality, but already as you're promising to work on that bit it shows that you are willing to work for the customers. Hopefully it works out well.

Not to rain on your parade but isn't it illegal to steal stuff (i.e. pictures) from other peoples' websites? As in your icons that look exactly like Truck Performance's ?

We are a distributor for Truck Performance/ Performance Center/ Performance Center Wholesale. They offer advertising stock to use.

I correct what I know guys. Like I said, I am not entirely versed in the Contour. Manufacturer's make these claims and descriptions public information and I correct them where I see them. That one was obviously an oversite.

I've had no problems with the site being slow and I think you'll agree that once we make it prune all the categoried that don't apply to your car, it will be 10 times easier to navigate.

I was reading a little last night about the Kaotic situation and that really stinks. I can tell you this. We are one of the top rated SHO vendors with a quick shipping history and 98% positive, usually very positive, customer feedback.

If you compare those prices to some of the other vendors that offer stuff for your cars, you'll see that for the most part, we are a fair bit cheaper. I find that a common problem in car communities is that everyone wants something new and better, but no one wants to try something new and better.

In the end, your decision as to where you buy your parts will be your decision. There is nothing I can do short of good pricing and good customer service to sway anyone's opinion or wallet my way. I sincerly hope you guys will try us out. You won't be dissapointed.

P.S. - Ignore the manufacturers writing on their product. It's obviously biased to make them look good. You guys all seem well versed in your cars and know what a set of Taylor wires is and the gains (zip) that they give you. Keeping that in mind, I do have to have a description there for those that don't know. Compare the prices, not the claims, and I think you'll be happy.

Guys, I hope I'm not being a pest, but the Contour stuff is our base test bed to make sure the site is working.

I have changed it so it prunes out subcategories that don't have anything for your car. So it's much easier to navigate, or so I think. Please let me know what you guys think.

Be sure to choose your car at the top left.

Thanks for the help. It's very much appreciated. When the store is officially open, we'll be sure to get you guys some special deals.

As for you guys that are concerned about Mike and his business, you've got absolutely nothing to worry about. I've met him personally, as well as done business with his company in the past. He is a very squared-away guy, and knows his stuff.

Mike, since you carry Contour stuff now, I will probably be a customer of yours again in the not so distant future

site is not slow for me

glad to see someone helping the contour community

i was a little surprised at the $799 Koni price though (as if they weren't high enough already)

the vehicle selection needs work...as stated earlier, the average person will not know what to do and just see the 'cancel' button and think the site is messed up. I knew that u just had to select the option again to get it to work but u might wanna fix that.

Actually, we moved it all to a new server, so it's much quicker. If prices on certain products are high, please let me know and I will try to do a little more research on them to make them a little more competitive. I have to do this X 20 different cars, so it's easy to get confused and backlogged mighty quick.

As for the car selection, it's on a long list of minor bugs to be fixed.

Andy, thanks for the kind words sir.
