OP wakeslayer New CEG\'er W Joined: Jan 2004 Posts: 24 Plano, TX	This sound is driving me crazy! I have a noise/rattle behind my dash board or in the engine compartment. I have looked and looked but cant find anything that is loose and knocking around. Anyone else have a problem like this that might know what it is? Thanks! 1998 Contour LX, 2.5L V6

On the passnger side of your car, look down, the plastic stripping going near where the door closes but the door doesnt touch. There are three bolts ( philips head screwdriver) evenly spaced apart holding it there, for me the one closest to the glove box came loose, I tighted it hard and bye bye sound.
