ANYONE ELSE HAVE THIS PROBLEM. WHEN I COME TO STOP LIGHT.
WITH THE HEAT ON I GET EXHAUST SMELL IN THE CABIN OF THE CAR. I DO NOT NOTICE ANY EXHAUST LEAKS UNDER THE CAR. ANY IDEAS.

I had that problem about a year ago. I noticed it off and on for a week or two, and then it quit. I haven't noticed it at all this winter. Maybe my nose just doesn't work anymoe.

You may be burning a small amount of oil, and it travels through the vents.
Oil could also be dripping down onto your exhaust manifold, burning, and coming in through the vents.
Finally, you may need to change your cabin air filter.

Make sure your trunk seal is not defective.

open your trunk and see if you can smell exhaust in the trunk... if so then you have an exh. leak and the back bumper is capturing it when you drive and eventually it will get into the car via the back seat.. it happened to me...

Does the problem only exist when the Hvac is being used? If so there were problems witht hte wiring harness. I had this problem, when I had the heat or vent on I got a bad burning/exhaust smell in the cabin.

I get a burning smell, not bad though. Seems after heat is on for a whle then it comes and then after a while longer goes away.
Wiring harness checked over twice by Ford dealer, he said it okay so I guess I will take what he says for fact.

then it is most likely oil burning off of the exhaust i have a really bad oil leak right now and i get this same problem

i only get the smell when the hvac is running. Is the wiring harness a hard fix
