which is a National Air and Space Museum Annex recently completed new Dulles Airport near DC.

Packard Merlin V-1650-7 (Rolls Royce Merlin engine built under license by the Packard Motor Company and used as the primary powerplant for North American P-51 Mustangs). This engine really won the war for the allies in the European theater during WWII.

Somebody actually built a car that had a 27 litre Rolls-Royce Merlin aircraft engine under the hood.

actually several british Rolls were converted to run Aero engines back in the day - i havtn tried to find pics latley - but I heard that they were spectacular!!

The crowds were pretty bad - I went on a Saturday. Try Sunday or the weekdays. Overall, it was well worth the hassle.
