(95 Automatic Tranny Tour) I drove 90 miles and then stopped at a gas station. All of a sudden I couldn't get my car out of park. I used the car manual to unlock the gear and was on my way. I then realized that my heater was not working, and I had no turn signals. Stopped, checked the fuse (23) and is was blwon so I replaced the fuse. Started the car... turn signals and heater worked. Shifted the car out of P and immediately the heater and turn signals were gone. Checked the fuse and it was blown again. The manual says this fuse is for the turn signals. Now I still have to manually unlock the shifter out of P, and I have no heat or signals. I've blown two fuses doing the same thing. Yes it is the right fuse that I replace it with. I'm taking it to the shop tomorrow, anyone experience this problem, or have any suggestions? Thanks

If you have had problems getting you key out too, it is the relay that makes your car think it is in park. This is located under the shifter housing, next to the shifter. Pull up the plastic peice and it looks like a little thin black box about 1' with a long metal peice attatched. Sometimes this relay pops out of place and can cause all sourts of gremlins in your car..........blown fuses, key lock, battery drain. Just take a look...............just a thought.

You have a short somewhere.
Better hope the shop doesnt charge a diagonistic fee or else you gonna be paying big $$$$$$$$$$.
Or you could try to the locate the short yourself, and tell them where it is, so it saves you cash.
